Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX Gets International Press Coverage

When we partnered with IK Multimedia to launch the Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX.

Since the release on January 27th, 2026, the collection has been featured by some of the most respected publications in the music production and audio industry — from the UK's legendary Sound On Sound to Mixdown Magazine in Australia, Sonic State, Magnetic Magazine, Pro Audio Tech (Germany), and Audiofanzine in France, among others. The story even traveled to Russia, picked up by DJSound.ru, and landed in community forums like GearSpace and SynthWizards.

What resonated with the press was the same thing that drove us to create this collection in the first place: access. As Mark Kondrat of IK Multimedia put it in several of the features, this series gives guitarists and producers everywhere the ability to tap into hard-to-find vintage, boutique, and rare amplifiers — the same amps that have helped shape the sound of multi-platinum and Latin Grammy-winning records made right here at Heiga Studios in Downtown Miami.

Mixdown Magazine called it a "legendary amp collection," and Sound On Sound highlighted the studio-quality signal chain approach that Adrian Morales-Demori spent months perfecting — testing cabinet configurations, refining mic placement, phase alignment, preamp selection, EQ, and compression to ensure every Tone Model captured the full character of the amp, not just its basic sound.

For us, this launch is more than a product release. As our Co-Founder and CEO Malury Imbernon shared with the press, it's a meaningful milestone for a studio that started from humble, independent roots. Getting to share Heiga's sonic DNA with bedroom producers, touring guitarists, and studio engineers across the globe — through the ToneX ecosystem — is exactly the kind of possibility we dreamed about when we built this studio.
