Heiga Studios VP Adrian Morales Demori Joins First-Ever Joint NY & Miami P&E Wing Panel of the Recording Academy

On Wednesday June 17, 2026, marked a milestone for the music production community as the New York and Miami chapters of the Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs) came together for the first time to host a joint online Producers & Engineers (P&E) Wing panel — and Heiga Studios was proud to be represented at the table.

Our VP, Adrian Morales Demori, served as a panelist representing Miami, sharing the stage (virtually) with an accomplished group of producers and engineers from both coasts.

Representing Miami

Adrian represented Miami alongside Jean Music (Jean Rodrigues), a respected vocal producer, with the Miami side of the conversation moderated by acclaimed producer and engineer Marcella Araica.

Representing New York

The New York chapter was moderated by D. Arcelious Harris, co-chair of the Recording Academy, and featured panelists Patrick Wimberly and Miki Tsutsumi.

A First for Both Chapters

This event was historic: it was the first time the New York and Miami chapters of the Recording Academy collaborated on a joint P&E Wing panel. Bringing together voices from two of the most vibrant music hubs in the country, the session opened up a cross-coast dialogue that rarely happens in such a direct, open format.

Throughout the panel, the participants shared deep insights into the music industry — covering both the craft and the business. Discussions ranged from the technical aspects of recording, including the recording templates the panelists rely on in their own workflows, to broader industry knowledge that helps emerging and established professionals navigate the evolving landscape of music production.
